SUSPECT(S): Aaron Weldon 19-year-old male from Ontario
Sandra Diaz 22-year-old female from Rancho Cucamonga
Summary
On August 9, 2016, at approximately 8:25 am, Deputy Shelton of the Rancho Cucamonga Police Department responded to a trespassing call near Foothill Boulevard and High Ridge Place. Shelton arrived at the area and located Aaron Weldon and Sandra Diaz. Weldon immediately fled on foot while Diaz remained at the scene.
Deputy Shelton called for additional deputies to search the area. After a brief search, deputies located Weldon hiding inside a shed at the Sycamore Villa Mobile Home Park. Weldon was taken into custody without incident.
Deputy Shelton’s investigation revealed Weldon and Diaz were involved in mail theft. Weldon is also the suspect in an unlawful sexual intercourse investigation.
Weldon and Diaz were booked into the West Valley Detention Center for possession of stolen mail and trespassing. Weldon was additionally booked for sexual intercourse with a minor. Weldon’s bail was set at $25,000.
