INCIDENT: Felon in Possession of a Firearm and Parole Violation LOCATION: 2000 block of W. 1st Avenue, San Bernardino SUSPECT: Jeffery Marshall, 26 years old, San Bernardino resident


On December 7, 2016, at approximatey 10:17 p.m., Deputies from the Sheriff’s Central Station conducted a probation check at the residence on 1st Avenue. While conducting the check, several subjects fled on foot and ran from the residence. Deputies located a white male, later identified as Jeffery Marshall, hiding outside under a tree. Marshall falsely impersonated another subject and provided the impersonated subject’s valid driver’s license. Marshall was later identified through his fingerprints as a parolee at large. During the initial contact with Marshall, deputies found a loaded handgun, approximately a half ounce of suspected methamphetamine and a glass methamphetamine pipe next to him. Marshall showed signs and symptoms of being under the influence of a controlled substance. During an inspection of the handgun, deputy discovered the handgun was fully functional and in good condition. Marshall was arrested and booked into Central Detention Center for PC 29800(A) Felon in Possession of a Firearm and PC 3056 Parole Violation.
