INCIDENT: Felon in Possession of a Firearm and Possession of Burglary Tools

LOCATION: E Street and 41st Street, San Bernardino

SUSPECT(S): James Tierce, age 41 a resident of San Bernardino
Jesse Waters, age 22 a resident of Rialto


On August 15, 2016, at approximatey1:33a.m., Deputy Kostiuk and Dep. S. Tabor, from the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Central station, conducted a traffic stop on a U-Haul truck in the area of E. Street and 41st Street. The driver was identified as James Tierce. Tierce was found to have an active no bail warrant for a violation of his probation and is a convicted felon. The passenger was identified as Jesse Waters. Waters had an active warrant for trespassing.
During a search of the vehicle, deputies located a loaded .22 caliber Beretta semi-automatic pistol, shaved car keys, bolt cutters and crow bars. Tierce and Water’s were arrested and booked into Central Detention Center for possession of a loaded firearm and possession of burglary tools.
