INCIDENT: HS 11550(E) Under the Influence of a Controlled Substance While Armed
LOCATION: Lugo Avenue and 14th Street, San Bernardino
SUSPECT(S): Sione Longani, age 23, of San Bernardino
VICTIM(S): Confidential
Summary
Deputies McDermott and Tabor, from the Sheriff’s Central Station, were in the area of Waterman and 14th Street when they observed a vehicle, with no plates, drive west on 14th Street.Deputies turned around and the vehicle was speeding away in an attempt to elude deputies.They located the vehicle in the area of Lugo and 14th Street.Deputies observed four Hispanic males running from the vehicle.They conducted an area check and located the driver, later identified as Sione Longani, sitting on the side of a nearby home.Deputies observed a 9mm handgun on the ground next to Longani.Longani was taken into custody without incident and determined to be under the influence of a controlled substance.He was arrested and booked into Central Detention Center for HS 11550(E) Under the Influence of a Controlled Substance While Armed.
