INCIDENT: Under the Influence of Methamphetamine While Armed LOCATION: 40th Street and Sierra Way, San Bernardino SUSPECT(S): Gilbert Farias (28), San Bernardino resident VICTIM(S): State of California

Summary

On Sunday, July 24, 2016, at approximately 10:02 a.m., Deputies Nicassio and Cobbs, from the Sheriff’s Central Station, conducted a pedestrian check and determined the subject was under the influence of methamphetamine. The subject was identified as Gilbert Farias, San Bernardino resident. During a search incident to arrest, deputies located a loaded 38. Cal revolver in Farias’ backpack. Farias was arrested and booked into Central Detention Center.
