INCIDENT: PC 459 Residential Burglary

LOCATION: 30000 block of Oriente Dr, Newberry Springs, Ca

SUSPECT: Jeffrey Skelly, age 18, Transient.

VICTIM: Newberry Springs resident


On February 09, 2016 Deputies responded to a residential burglary in the 30000 block of Oriente Dr, Newberry Springs. Deputies determined the suspect stole firearms, jewelry and a truck from the residence. Detectives and Deputies working the case identified the suspect as Jeffrey Skelly, who was located and found to be in possession of property stolen from the Newberry Springs residence. The suspect gave the location of the stolen truck to detectives who recovered it the same day along with additional items stolen from the residence.
Jeffrey Skelly was booked into the Barstow Jail for PC 459-Residential Burglary. Bail was set at $75,000.00
