LOCATION:Sullivan Road/Yucca Avenue, Twentynine Palms

SUSPECT(S): Krystle Edwards, 30 years of age, Twentynine Palms resident
Amy Bustamante, 29 years of age, transientBrandon Hibler, 29 years of age, Twentynine Palms resident

Summary

On Tuesday January 12 during the early morning hours, Deputy Jimenez conducted a traffic enforcement stop on a vehicle occupied by Brandon Hibler, Krystle Edwards and Amy Bustamante. Brandon Hibler was found to be on parole and Krystle Edwards was found to be on probation. Krystle Edwards was arrested for a felony no-bail arrest warrant. Edwards was found to be in possession of numerous credit cards in 14 different names. She was also in possession of suspected stolen mail. A probation compliance check was completed at a local motel where Edwards and Hibler were staying. During the compliance check, additional credit cards and suspected stolen mail were located in the room.
 
All three suspects were arrested and booked into the Morongo Sheriff’s Jail. Hibler was booked into the Morongo Basin jail in lieu of $50,000 bail. California Department of Correction Parole also placed a no bail parole hold on Hibler. Amy Bustamante was arrested for identity theft as she was in possession of credit cards and blank checks in different names other than her own. Bustamante is being held in lieu of $50,000 bail. Edwards is being held in lieu of $50,000 bail. San Bernardino County Probation placed a no bail probation hold on Edwards.
