DATE/TIME: December 26, 2016 – 6:52 a.m.

INCIDENT: Attempt Murder

SUSPECT: Charles Home, 19 years old, resident of Pinon Hills


On Monday, December 26, 2016 at approximately 6:52 a.m. Sheriff’s dispatch received a call from a subject stating he had just stabbed someone.

Deputies from the Victor Valley Sheriff’s Station responded to the residence and found a male subject with numerous stab wounds. San Bernardino County Fire Department also responded and treated the victim. Due to the extent of injures the victim was flown to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center and is expected to survive his injuries. The victim was known to the suspect and the suspect was familiar with the residence.

Charles Home was arrested and booked at High Desert Detention Center, where he is being held in lieu of $1,000,000 bail on charges of Attempt Murder.
