INCIDENT: Stolen Vehicle

LOCATION: Victor Valley

SUSPECT: Unknown


On Saturday, October 8, 2016 at 9:30 a.m. a Detective with the Specialized Investigations Division – Bomb/Arson Detail, woke to find that his department assigned vehicle had been stolen from the driveway of his home. The vehicle, a 2006 Chevy 3500 Utility truck, was immediately entered into the system as a stolen vehicle and surrounding law enforcement agencies were notified of the theft. Investigators began canvassing the area, in search of evidence and/or witnesses.

At approximately 5:00 p.m. Los Angeles Co. Sheriff and CHP responded to the area of 263rd St. and Duncan Rd. regarding an abandoned vehicle. They located the vehicle, abandoned on a dirt road. No firearms were in the vehicle at the time of the theft and all other equipment was accounted for. No arrests have been made at this time.
