INCIDENT: Burglary, Vehicle Theft, Possession of Stolen Vehicle, Criminal Threats

SUSPECT(S): Gilbert Falgo, 19, resident of Fullerton
                       16 year-old male, resident of Victorville
                       17 year-old male, resident of Victorville

Summary

On Thursday, April 7, 2016, at approximately 6:05 a.m., a report of a residential burglary was received by San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Dispatch.

Deputy Thomas Gates of the Victor Valley Sheriff’s Station was dispatched to the residence. Gates arrived on scene and learned the residents woke to find their residence had been broken into during the night. A vehicle, along with other items from the residence, had been taken.

On Friday, April 8, 2016, at approximately 2:35 a.m., deputies from the Victorville Sheriff’s Station responded to a report of a vehicle that had been driven into a wall in the 13000 block of Third Avenue in the City of Victorville. Deputy Christina Olivas was dispatched to investigate and found the vehicle which had been stolen from the residence on Anchor Drive had crashed into a wall.

Through the investigation Olivas learned the suspects had driven the stolen van to a party at an apartment complex in the 13000 block of Third Avenue in the City of Victorville. At some point during the party an altercation ensued and the suspects attempted to leave the party. While trying to leave the driver crashed into a wall of a storage unit. Deputies continued to investigate and were led to the above suspects who were then arrested.

Gilbert Falgo was booked at the High Desert Detention Center on charges of possession of stolen property, criminal threats, burglary and receiving stolen property. He is currently being held in lieu of $100,000 bail. Both of the juveniles were booked at San Bernardino Juvenile Hall on similar charges.
