INCIDENT: Two Vehicle Collision with Serious Injury

LOCATION: Forrest Avenue, Victorville

SUSPECT(S): Mirian Parker, 22 year old Victorville Resident

VICTIM(S): Confidential

On April 27, 2016, Deputies from the Victorville Police Department responded to the 16000 block of Forrest Drive for a reported vehicle collision, between a 2010 Nissan Altima and a 2005 Dodge Stratus. Reporting parties stated that one of the men involved, an 18 year old male, had a severed foot as a result of the accident.

During the extensive investigation it was determined that the victim was sitting in a parked vehicle, with one leg outside of the open door, when the other vehicle ran into it, severing his foot. It appears the collision was intentional and related to an on-going issue between the parties. Detectives have determined that at least one of the involved parties had a firearm at the scene.

The victim was flown to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center to be treated for his injuries. Mirian Parker was arrested and booked at the High Desert Detention Center on a parole violation and weapons charges. This investigation is on-going and it is believed that there may be other suspect(s) outstanding.
