Summary

**UPDATE – Tuesday, January 12, 2016:The second suspect that stabbed two victims at the Whiskey Business Bar was identified as 31 year old, Tony Lee Crawford. Detectives obtained an arrest warrant for attempt murder with a $2,000,000 bail. With an arrest warrant in hand, Detectives went on a city-wide man hunt and located Crawford at 34184 County Line Road, Yucaipa. Crawford was arrested without incident and booked in to the Central Detention Center.

   

On January 11, 2016, at approximately 7:52 p.m., deputies from the Yucaipa Police Department responded to the Whiskey Business Bar after being dispatched to a stabbing that had just occurred.

  

The investigation revealed Armondo Aguayo and a white male adult were at the bar drinking together. Aguayo and the other subject became belligerent and started threatening the female bartender. When the bartender tried escorting the two men out of the bar, Suspect #2 began assaulting her. Suspect #2 punched the bartender several times and pulled out a knife. When a bar patron intervened to assist the bartender, the Suspect #2 stabbed him with the knife.   Aguayo picked up a pool stick and held it as a weapon as he approached the bartender. When another patron attempted to assist the bartender by trying to reason with Aguayo, Suspect #2 walked up to him and stabbed him in the abdomen.   Aguayo and Suspect #2 exited the bar and fled the scene. Deputies located Aguayo nearby and took him into custody. He was booked into Central Detention Center. Suspect #2 remains outstanding.   Both victims were transported to Loma Linda University Medical Center with moderate injuries.   Detectives are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying and locating the second suspect.
