Summary
On 08/19/2016, CAMPOS and STEPHENS drove to the Inland Leaders Charter School in Yucaipa. CAMPOS walked onto the school property and into an unoccupied and unlocked classroom. CAMPOS stole two purses, belonging to the teacher and teacher’s aide, from inside the classroom. CAMPOS and STEPHENS then used credit cards belonging to the victims to purchase items at various stores in Redlands and Highland. Detectives from the Yucaipa Police Department identified the suspects and served a search warrant at STEPHENS’ residence in San Bernardino. Items from the theft were recovered from the house. CAMPOS and STEPHENS were booked for felony theft and conspiracy charges. These suspects are under investigation for numerous other thefts and fraudulent use of credit card cases in Yucaipa, Loma Linda and surrounding areas.
