Incident:  PC 211 – Bank Robbery

Location:  33644 Yucaipa Boulevard, City of Yucaipa

Suspect(s):  Jeffrey Haley – Age 32 – Redlands; Robin Gurule – Age 51 – Yucaipa

Victim(s):  Wells Fargo Bank


On 08/27/16, deputies responded to a report of an armed robbery at the Wells Fargo Bank inside the Vons supermarket. A male suspect entered the store and approached the bank teller with a handwritten note demanding money. The suspect then exposed a gun that was in his waistband. The teller complied and handed the suspect currency from the bank’s cash drawer. The suspect grabbed the money and fled in an awaiting gray Kia Soul. 

On 08-30-16, detectives from the Yucaipa Police Department located the suspect vehicle parked at a residence in the 12000 block of Douglas Street in Yucaipa. Detectives searched the home and found evidence of the robbery. Detectives also served a search warrant at a residence in the 800 block of Webster Street in the City of Redlands and found additional evidence involved in the crime. Jeffrey Haley was identified as the suspect who committed the robbery and Robin Gurule was identified as the getaway driver. Haley was booked for P.C. 211 at the West Valley Detention Center and held in lieu of $100,000.00 bail.
