INCIDENT: FATAL HIT AND RUN TRAFFIC COLLISION

LOCATION: 12150 4TH STREET, YUCAIPA

SUSPECT(S): UNKNOWN

VICTIM(S): JOHN DOE, 70 YEAR OLD MALE YUCAIPA RESIDENT

Summary

On Monday, August 22, 2016, at approximately 2:33 p.m., deputies from the Yucaipa Sheriff’s Station responded to 12150 4th Street in reference to male laying on the ground behind the business. The victim was found to be deceased from an appparent traffic collision which occurred in the alley behind the business. The driver/vehicle fled the scene of the collision.

The cause of the collision is under investigation. Any witnesses are encouraged to contact the Yucaipa Sheriff’s Station if you were in an around the area and you may have seen something.
