INCIDENT: Possession of a controlled for sale / possession of marijuana for sale

LOCATION: Center Park / 1st st and Avenue B, Yucaipa

SUSPECT(S): Lindo, Scott (20) of Yucaipa

VICTIM(S): People Of The State Of California

Summary

Deputies from the Yucaipa Station Multiple Enforcment Team were conducting extra patrol at Center Park in the City of Yucaipa after receiving complaints of suspected narcotic sales and ongoing drug use in the park. Deputies conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle at the park and contacted Scott Lindo. During the course of their investigation evidence was located implicating Lindo with the sales of liquid morphine, prescription medication, and marijuana. A large amount of US Currency was seized during their investigation. Lindo was arrested and booked at the Central Detection Center for HS11351, and HS11359 and is being held on $50,000.00 bail.

The Multiple Enforcement Team / Problem Oriented Policing Detail is funded by and serves the City of Yucaipa. Among other duties, officers assigned to this detail seek wanted persons, work with parole and probation officers to ensure that people under their supervision remain in compliance with the law, and respond to concerns expressed by citizens regarding all types of criminal activity that is affecting their neighborhoods and communities.
