INCIDENT:Penal Code 459 – Residential Burglary

LOCATION:56100 block of Breezy Lane, Yucca Valley

SUSPECT(S):15 year old male, Yucca Valley


On Wednesday, April 27, 2016, at 7:38 pm, sheriff’s deputies responded to a residential burglary reported on the 56100 block of Breezy Lane in the county area of Yucca Valley. Through investigation Deputies T. Hodgins and J. Dieckhoff discovered the residence was forcefully entered and several pieces of property were stolen from the victim’s residence. Evidence was located at the scene which led deputies to the 2800 block of Keeler Ave in Yucca Valley. Several subjects were contacted and one 17 year old juvenile was detained. Some of the victim’s stolen property was recovered at the location and additional evidence led deputies to an address on the 5100 block of Old Woman Springs Road in Johnson Valley. Three additional juveniles, 14, 14, and 15 years, were detained at the Old Woman Springs Road address pending further investigation. Deputy Hodgins located evidence at the scene, but no additional property was recovered.


After evidence and stolen property were recovered from the 15 year old’s room at the Keeler Ave address, he was arrested for Penal Code 459 – Residential Burglary and was issued a citation, and released to his mother pending a review by the Juvenile District Attorney’s Office.
