INCIDENT:Penal Code 459 – Residential Burglary

SUSPECT:Kimberly Johnson, 39 years, Joshua Tree
Summary
On Thursday, November 24, 2016 at about 3:22 am, sheriff’s deputies responded to the 58600 block of Barron Drive in Yucca Valley regarding a suspicious circumstance call. The reporting party reported that she woke up and discovered her house had been ransacked and an unknown female was sleeping on her couch in the living room. Deputies J. Naylor and S. Lenihan arrived and contacted the reporting party/victim and detained the female who was on the couch, identified as Kimberly Johnson. The victim did not know Johnson and several items belonging to the victim were located inside a pillow case and staged by the front door.
Johnson was arrested for Penal Code 459 – Residential Burglary, transported and booked into the Morongo Basin Jail in lieu of $25,000 bail.
