SUSPECT(S): Jeffrey McDonald, 38 years old a resident of Apple Valley

Summary

On December 13, 2017, at 7:55 pm, deputies from the Apple Valley Station served a search warrant at 13277 Lakota Road Apple Valley. Deputy Brian Grimm authored a search warrant for the property after learning the resident Jeffrey McDonald was selling methamphetamine from the location. During the service of the warrant, McDonald was found with methamphetamine packaged for sales on his person, along with US currency and two counterfeit $100 bills. A load semi-automatic handgun was recovered from McDonald’s bedroom along with numerous rounds of ammunition. A records check of the firearm indicated it was a reported stolen from Missouri in 2013.

McDonald is a previously convicted felon who was released from custody in January 2017, without parole or probation terms. McDonald was booked at High Desert Detention Center for multiple felony violations. His bail is set at $50,000 and his next court date is December 15, 2017.
