Crime or Incident: PC 664/459 Attempt Residential Burglary / PC 182 Conspiracy

Suspect(s): Marlon Reynolds, age 20 of Long Beach, Jeremiah Barnett, age 20 of Los Angeles, Mark Hopper III, age 20 of Gardena


On Monday, March 20, 2017, at about 2:30 pm, Chino Hills Deputies observed two males enter the rear yard of a residence located in the 16000 block of Quail Country Avenue in Chino Hills.A third male remained in a black Toyota Camry that was parked in front of the residence.Deputies suspected the two were attempting to burglarize the residence.The two suspects that went into the backyard returned to the vehicle and tried to leave the area.Deputies attempted to conduct a traffic stop but the suspects led deputies on a short vehicle pursuit which ended when deputies applied the Pursuit Intervention Technique on the Northbound onramp to the 71 Freeway at Butterfield Ranch Road.All three suspects were taken into custody without incident after the Toyota became disabled.Stolen property was recovered from the interior of the Toyota and Detectives are working to locate the owner(s).
