INCIDENT: PC496(a)Possession of Stolen Property/Warrant arrest
LOCATION: Banana Ave/ Valley Blvd., Fontana
SUSPECT: 17 year old female, resident of West Covina

Summary

On Wednesday, July 12, 2017 at approximately 11:43 p.m., while driving in the area of Banana Avenue and Valley Blvd., Deputy Dominguez ran a license plate on a suspicious unoccuppied white 2002 Ford Expedition. The vehicle was reported stolen out of West Covina. During the investigation, witnesses advised the deputy that a female with a shaved head and wearing a grey and white shirt was seen driving the vehicle. They indicated that she was staying in the area.

While recovering the stolen vehicle, a female subject who matched the description provided by the witnesses arrived at the scene and was positively identified as the driver of the stolen vehicle. Deputy Dominguez contacted the female and she initially provided a false name. She was later positively identified and found to have an active felony warrant for Robbery out of West Covina. The juvenile was placed under arrest for PC 496(a) Possession of stolen property and booked into Juvenile Hall.
