INCIDENT: PC 211 Armed Robbery

LOCATION: 12000 block of Michigan Avenue, Grand Terrace

SUSPECTS: Luis Nuno age 21 and Esmeralda Badajoz age 29, both residents of San Bernardino

VICTIM(S): Confidential

SUMMARY: On April 29, 2018, deputies from the Sheriff’s Central Station, Grand Terrace patrol, responded to an armed robbery that occurred at the Grand Terrace Market. The unidentified suspect entered the market wearing a wig and a fake beard. The suspect pointed a black handgun at the clerk and ordered her to open the cashier register. The suspect handcuffed the clerk, took the cash and fled the scene in a silver sedan. Detective Allen conducted the investigation and identified the suspects as Luis Nuno and Esmeralda Badajoz, both San Bernardino residents.

On November 8, 2018, detectives from the Sheriff’s Central Station served a search warrant at 551 W. 7th Street, in the city of San Bernardino. Nuno and Badajoz were both taken into custody and detectives located evidence in the residence used during the robbery. Nuno and Badajoz were both arrested for PC 211 Armed Robbery and booked into Central Detention Center..
