SUSPECT:      Black male juvenile, 15-year-old resident of Adelanto

Black male juvenile, 13-year-old resident of Adelanto

VICTIM:          Hispanic female adult, 26-year-old resident of Adelanto



On Friday, November 30, 2018, deputies from the Victor Valley Sheriff’s Station responded to a report of a stabbing at a residence in the 11400 block of Star Street in Adelanto.

Deputies learned the two suspects, along with a third male subject went to the residence to talk to a female about property. They had an argument and it turned physical. During the physical altercation an adult female victim was stabbed in the back by a 13-year-old male. The15-year-old male also punched the victim several times while she was being stabbed. The victim was flown to a trauma center for treatment of her injuries and is expected to make a full recovery.

Both suspects left prior to deputies’ arrival, however they were located at a nearby residence a short time later. Both the 15-year-old and the 13-year-old were arrested and booked at High Desert Juvenile Detention Center on charges of attempted murder.
