INCIDENT: H&S 11364-Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
LOCATION: Yucaipa Boulevard/4th Street, Yucaipa
SUSPECT: Shane Rodriguez, 38-years-old, resident of Yucaipa
SUMMARY:
On Saturday, July 28, 2018 at 2: 11 p.m. a concerned citizen reported a man with a gun walking in the area of 4th Street and Yucaipa Boulevard. Deputy Coillot and Sergeant Emon observed a male holding what appeared to be a silver metal revolver with a black taped off grip. He was ordered by the deputies to drop the gun and immediately complied and was detained without incident. The subject was identified as Shane Rodriguez. Upon closer inspection, the gun was determined to be a metal cap gun adorned to look like a real firearm.
Rodriguez was found to be in possession of a pipe used to smoke methamphetamine. He was arrested and later cite released for H&S 11364(a)-Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
