INCIDENT: Traffic Collision with Major Injury

LOCATION: El Cortez Rd. and Old Woman Springs Rd, Yucca Valley

On Saturday, October 27, 2018, at approximately 6:09 pm, deputies from the Morongo Basin Sheriff’s Station responded to a report of a traffic collision with injuries on Old Woman Springs Rd., at the cross street of El Cortez Rd., in Yucca Valley. A vehicle traveling North on Old Womas Springs Rd. crossed over into the Southbound lane of Old Woman Springs Rd. and collided head on with a vehicle traveling South on Old Woman Springs Rd. The vehicle traveling North was occupied by one adult female and the vehicle traveling South was occupied by two adult males. The female sustained injuries and was transported by helicopter to a local area hospital. The males sustained injuries and were transported by ambulance to the hospital.

The collision is under investigation at this time.
