The Transitional Assistance Department (TAD) Outreach Team is dedicated to improving the well-being of our low-income communities by bringing our knowledge, resources, and services to individuals and families in all areas of San Bernardino County.
The TAD Outreach Team offers several activities to help expand public awareness of our programs such as:

- Mobile office outreach, where our equipped vehicle travels to specific locations to provide services on-site.

We value collaboration! Community-based organizations can reach out to us via email at tadoutreach@hss.sbcounty.gov to explore partnership opportunities.
A formal MOU is not typically required for collaboration, though we are happy to discuss one based on the type of partnership you envision.

Absolutely! To request a speaker or representative, simply complete the invitation form by selecting the “Invite TAD” button on our Outreach homepage. Be sure to include your event details and the outreach services you need.
Referring clients to TAD is easy! You can:
- Become a CBO Application Assister through BenefitsCal.com.
- Provide clients with information about the nearest TAD office using the Find a TAD Office tool to share contact details and operating hours.
- Distribute program brochures to help spread the word about available resources.

TAD offers:

Yes, TAD offers a wide selection of brochures and informational flyers for each program. These materials are easily downloadable from the Marketing Materials page, making it simple to share accurate information with your clients.
