Simply text CalTEXT to the number 72422 to enroll. After enrolling, you’ll receive a text message (it may take some time to reach your phone). Reply “Y” to this message to confirm your subscription to CalFresh Texts.
Contact your county/worker if you need more help enrolling.
You may receive up to ten messages from CalFresh Texts each month.

The CalFresh Texts service is free to sign up for and use. However, check your mobile phone plan since standard text message and data rates may apply.
You can cancel your service at any time by texting STOP, STOP ALL, END, QUIT, CANCEL or UNSUBSCRIBE to 72422. You’ll receive a final text message confirming you want to cancel your subscription.
You may also be able to cancel the service by contacting your county/worker.
When you provide your mobile phone number to CalSAWS Text service, you agree that CalSAWS Text may send you text messages to that phone number. You may receive up to 10 messages per month, standard text message and data rates may apply.
For help, send a text message with the word HELP to 72422. You may stop receiving text messages at any time by texting the word STOP, STOP ALL, END, QUIT, CANCEL or UNSUBSCRIBE to 72422. You agree to receive a final text message confirming your decision to be removed from the CalSAWS Text service. You may also be able to stop receiving text messages by contacting your county/worker. Texts will be sent through an automated system. You agree to notify your county/worker of any changes to your mobile phone number. Certain Mobile Features may be restricted or incompatible with your carrier or mobile device. Please contact your carrier with questions regarding these issues.
Supported carriers include: AT&T, U.S. Cellular, Verizon Wireless, Boost, Virgin Mobile, Metro PCS and T-Mobile.
