Excavation Permits are typically issued for installation, replacement or repair of any underground utility lines (gas, water, sewer, electrical, telephone, cable tv, fiber optic lines, etc.). Excavation Permits are also issued for installation/removal of monitoring wells, geotechnical investigations, utility potholing, storm drain lateral connection or any other kind of work that may involve trenching or boring within the County Road right-of-way.
The undersigned hereby applies for permission to excavate, and/or otherwise encroach on County Road right-of-way by performing the following work and agrees to do the work in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations and subject to the approval of and the inspection by the San Bernardino County Department of Public Works-Permits/Operations Support Division-Transportation.
