Smoke and Carbon Monoxide Certificate

*This condition is required prior to final inspection.

Verify that the smoke and carbon monoxide (CO) alarms required by the California Residential Code (CRC)have been installed in the dwelling, in compliance with the CRC and with the manufacturer's instructions and further that they have been tested and do function properly.

Action Required:

  1. Fill out the CERTIFICATION & VERIFICATION FORM SMOKE AND CARBON MONOXIDE ALARM RETROFIT form and upload as an attachment for your record.
