  • The  information is provided as a guide for residential window replacements and new installations using the 2013 California Building Code and the 2013 California Residential Code.
  • The County of San Bernardino requires a building permit for all window and exterior door replacements regardless of how they are classified.
  • This includes both “Retrofit Windows” and “New construction flanged windows.
