Hotel Motel Business License Application–Enforcement

Information for Hotel/Motel Business License Applicants

Photo Identification - The applicant must supply photo identification, such as California driver's license of ID card, to establish identity and proof of age.

New owner - If the applicant is the new owner of an existing hotel/motel, the applicant must supply the bill of sale.

Inspection Sheet - Applicants must obtain approval from the following County departments and submit the application with the inspection sheet (bottom of the application) signed off by all:

•         Inspection/Sign Off Sheet

Fingerprints - Each applicant must be fingerprinted, via Live Scan, through the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department for more information. Two copies of the completed Live Scan form will be returned to the applicant, one to be submitted to Code Enforcement with the application as proof of fingerprinting.
