On October 1, 2025, the California Food Assistance Program (CFAP) will expand to all noncitizens, age 55 or older, who do not qualify for CalFresh because of their immigration status. The California Department of Social Services (CDSS) wants to know your thoughts about the CFAP expansion and how they should advertise this program to the community.
