In honor of Native American Heritage Month, The Native American Awareness Subcommittee in partnership with the Native American Resource Center will host a virtual event on Tues., Nov. 16. The event will celebrate Native American culture and include a discussion on issues such as the Federal Indian Boarding School Initiative, Missing and Murdered Indigenous Persons and other issues Native Americans face today.
