The Mental Health Student Services Act (MHSSA) was implemented via Senate Bill 75 to encourage partnerships between county mental health departments, local education districts, and community-based organizations to deliver mental health services to youth and their families. These partnerships work to remove/reduce barriers, stigma, and discrimination, identify early signs of unmet mental health needs, and prevent unmet mental health needs from becoming severe and disabling. Short-term (up to 90-day) voluntary residential mental health treatment centers for individuals age 18 to 59 experiencing an acute psychiatric episode or crisis. Open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, including holidays.

Innovative Remote Onsite Assistance Delivery (InnROADs)
InnROADs works with community and county agencies to provide services to people who are experiencing homelessness and living in rural and isolated areas. InnROADs is a collaborative partnership between San Bernardino County Department of Aging and Adult Services, Behavioral Health, Public Health, and the Sheriff.
