The San Bernardino County Behavioral Health Commission (BHC) advises the San Bernardino County Board of Supervisors and Behavioral Health Director on aspects of local behavioral health programs and:
- reviews the Annual County Behavioral Health Services Performance Contract.
- evaluates community behavioral health needs, services and facilities.
- approves procedures for citizen and professional involvement in the planning process.

District Advisory Committee
The BHC is divided into five areas consistent with the five supervisory districts of the county. Each area has a sub-committee, known as a District Advisory Committee (DAC), which meets monthly to gather and provide the Department of Behavioral Health, through the BHC, feedback on the needs of their region. DAC meetings are held monthly and are open to the public. For more information on the DACs, email BHC-Contact@dbh.sbcounty.gov.
