Mindful Moments- Dear You: Journaling with Lo-Fi for Hope
(For DBH County Staff Only)
This session combines reflective journaling with calming lo-fi music to create a supportive environment that fosters resilience, mindfulness, and hope. This activity encourages participants to write letters addressed to “You” — whether to their past self, future self, a loved one, or their community. This reflective practice helps staff process emotions, recognize coping strategies, and cultivate gratitude.
Duration: 30–45 minutes
Structure:
- Welcome and framing of the activity
- Guided journaling prompts (e.g., “Dear You, I want you to remember …”)
- Quiet reflection with lo-fi music
- Optional sharing (voluntary excerpts)
- Closing with available support resources
