Mindful Moments- Dear You: Journaling with Lo-Fi for Hope

April 29 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm
Promotional graphic featuring the text “a wellness series: Mindful Moments” on a muted green background. The San Bernardino County Behavioral Health logo appears in the upper left, with a small circular sunburst icon on the right. A decorative plant with long, arching leaves is shown on the right side over a textured surface.

(For DBH County Staff Only)

This session combines reflective journaling with calming lo-fi music to create a supportive environment that fosters resilience, mindfulness, and hope. This activity encourages participants to write letters addressed to “You” — whether to their past self, future self, a loved one, or their community. This reflective practice helps staff process emotions, recognize coping strategies, and cultivate gratitude.

Duration: 30–45 minutes

Structure:

  • Welcome and framing of the activity
  • Guided journaling prompts (e.g., “Dear You, I want you to remember …”)
  • Quiet reflection with lo-fi music
  • Optional sharing (voluntary excerpts)
  • Closing with available support resources
