Child Abuse Investigation

This 40-hour course will provide students with the skills to
recognize, evaluate, and synthesize all aspects of investigating
crimes against children.
This course satisfies POST mandates on child abuse per Penal Code
sections 13516 and 13517
Learning Outcomes: Students will be Introduced to the history of
child abuse, types of child abuse and its impact on the officers who
investigate these crimes.
