Court Services

Brian Roper, Captain
The dedicated men and women of the Sheriff’s Court Services Division serve the San Bernardino Superior Court by providing professional security services and enforcing orders of the Courts of the State of California.
Court Services is the second largest division within the Sheriff’s Department and is comprised of two separate components. Deputies assigned to security functions ensure the safety and decorum of the Court is maintained by patrolling court facilities, keeping custody of inmates during court appearances, providing courtroom security, and by protecting judicial officials, jurors, witnesses and court employees. Deputies and Professional Staff assigned to the Civil Division receive, serve, and execute civil processes and orders of the Court in the manner prescribed by law.
